Screw the taped end of the arm into the plumbing connection inside the wall and hand tighten. 6. Protect the finish by wrapping the arm with a cloth and tighten with a wrench. 7. Push the flange against the wall, wrap threads of the shower arm with tape, and install the head by hand tightening. 8. Use a cloth to protect the finish of the shower head and tighten with a wrench.
